people! 2: Rowena!

Also frequently called Roweeeeeeeeeeeeeenaaaaaaaaaaa! but that's just in online conversation, or when me or Mary spot her in the street and call her. That way she immediately knows that it's us and, weirdly, she doesn't run away. One might think that Rowena is an anti-social. She likes to say she is, but I don't really believe her. She's one of the most helpful, generous, funny, etc. people I know (anyone who knows her knows what I mean by this 'etc.'). She's one of my best friends, if not the (i hope it means something in English, if it doesn't, well it doesn't matter, in this case, most important is that I know what I mean). She knows a lot about music (so does Mary, but they have different fields of knowledge), taught me a lot, is crazy about archaeology (I think I spelt it right, this time - nothing to distract me). She's also part of the whole friday night craziness (it brings people together), and, terribly importantly, she is one of my dearest, loveliest, sweetest drummers! (I'll tell you more about that later). She is a good drummer. I'm not. I might be a good 'shaker', and I do love drumming, and I might be able to start getting the bells, but she is a good drummer. She remembers rhythms, she lives them, she loves playing fire and she owns a boog!!! (for anyone who didn't understant a word of all this, don't worry, it's fine, I'm just a little sad for you, there) Because Rowena is full of contradictions, and for anyone who didn't know that already, it's a good thing. A very good thing. Rowena is Scottish. Don't try to tell her that she must be from Donegal or something, like. Cause she will be 'not impressed'. And for anyone who she is not impressed with, she can be scary. For us, it's quite funny. But that's another story. So yeah, it's not that she doesn't like Donegal or anything, she just doesn't sound like she's from Donegal, she sounds Scottish! And even I can hear that! tssss! There are many other things that can be said about Rowena, but the last one I'll say is that she doesn't like being taken in picture. So I won't put any picture of her here. There, the thundercats instead. I could also have put a Dalek, would have been fun too.
oh, and that song because I love her T-shirt
P.S. I love yaaaaaaaaaaaa!

people! 1: Mary!
I have loads of beautiful pictures of Mary, but I chose that one, simply because it represents the place and time in which we always spent time together on, during the year, with only a few exceptions. We were flatmates, but not always had time to meet, but we always had that 'sacred' (?) moment, when we went to Monroes, a pub on Dominic Street. But I'll tell you more about that later, surely... (and she understands right now that I'm trying not to laugh too hard... and floundering :) ). So, Mary! : of all the people I know, I think she's the most passioned about her subject (although Rowena's being quite a competitor in that matter) : Middle Ages! Don't start her on Arthur, she'll never stop! We had so many laughs about the Monty Pythons, pirates, fake spys, curls, anything really; that I can't think of her without a smile appearing on my face. She's a vegetarian, but will never give up on her cheese ('You've never had any of my cheese!'), even more than me, in fact! Although she's American, she's not American... 'whaaat?' ... no, I mean, she's not the type of American you see everywhere (especially on TV, during the news about the current US president): she's smart, clever, funny, very literate, and sooo nice! and pacifist! what more could you ask for?
